Enduring Classics

Our Pre-Fall Collection draws inspiration from the windswept romance of classic novels—and pairs well with a few of our favorites, listed below.

Middlemarch by George Eliot
A sweeping study of provincial life in the eponymous fictional English village, following a number of characters whose lives intersect and touching upon themes of idealism, religion, marriage, the status of women, self-interest, hypocrisy, education, and more.

In the Kitchen

Inspired ways to celebrate the gastronomic pleasures of early fall.
Preserving the Harvest
Preserving summer’s bounty and preparing for autumn days ahead has become something of a ritual for us. This time of year, we love making and then freezing vegetable stock, slow-roasted tomatoes, and fresh shelled beans.
The River Café Look Book: Recipes for Kids of All Ages
This collection of kid- and beginner-friendly recipes adapted from the legendary Michelin-star London restaurant offers a fun and easy way to introduce Italian home cooking to little ones (and makes a perfect gift).
Figs on Toast
A delightful way to enjoy the short-lived season of a favorite fruit. Simply top thick-cut toast with fresh ricotta or labne, a drizzle of honey, chopped walnuts, and some flaky sea salt—then add your quartered ripe figs.
